Do you clean oriental/area rugs in the home?
No. For the best and safest cleaning all rugs are brought to our plant for cleaning.
How do you clean Oriental rugs in your plant?
We have many different ways to clean oriental rugs based upon their composition and condition. Most rugs go through a dry soil extraction process first to remove as much dirt and grit as possible. This is then followed by a light shampoo and a thorough rinsing process in our flat bed mermerized wash machine. Once clean, the rug goes into our state-of-the-art dry room where we can dry a while room full of rugs in 4-6 hours. From there, the rug is taken down and inspected, the fringes are hand cleaned and a fabric protection is applied.
How long does this process take?
If the rugs are only in for cleaning we have them for a week or less. If repairs are to be done, an additional week is required.
