Matt has been with HammondKnoll for more than 24 years, and has spent 31 years working in the cleaning and restoration industry. He currently serves on the Board of the Carpet Cleaners Institute NW and is the Treasurer of the Washington State Floor Covering Association. Matt also is a member of the Master Builders Association. He graduated from the University of Puget Sound. He enjoys bicycling and boating in the Puget Sound in his free time.
Billy started working at HammondKnoll in 2011. He and his wife moved to Gig Harbor in 2008. Billy enjoys doing things outdoors like fishing, camping, hiking, bicycling, gardening, etc. He also enjoys cooking and creating new dishes. On weekends he enjoys running sound at his church. Mike G. works in our Plant assisting with Pick Up and Delivery, Rug Wash and general maintenance of the equipment and facility. When he is not at work he enjoys almost every sport, he even has played on a professional football team. Mike enjoys camping and off-roading, the light of his life is his daughter Eva. Mike enjoys coming to work because his job includes a different challenge everyday! We like to think of him as our Mike of all trades, he can fix anything and work wherever we need him!
Christine is our Human Resources Manager and she also takes care of our marketing efforts. She brings with her several years of administrative, clerical and human resources experience. When she isn’t at work, she is spending time with her family, volunteering at her son’s school, and riding horses. Her favorite pasttime is cheering her son on at his baseball and football games. She enjoys the variety and daily challenges that come with working at HammondKnoll.
Lori has been with HammondKnoll since 1988. She is currently the Finance and Accounting Manager. She has watched the company grow from 6 employees 24 years ago to over 30. Outside of work she enjoys boating, running and spending time with her family and watching her 11 year old son play sports.
Marta is one of our veterans; she has been with us for over 16 years! She was a military brat growing up and now she has found a home with all of us at HammondKnoll. Marta is an expert at helping customers trouble shoot their stains and spots! Give her a call she loves to help our customers! In her free time Marta loves spending time with friends, family and her beautiful cats. Marta is our fashion guru; she is always looking great and looking forward to making our customers smile and laugh! If you want to make Marta your best friend, bring her some chocolate!!!
Chris E. has worked for HammondKnoll for over 21 years, and he has been in the industry for 30 years. Chris has been married for 29 years and has a 2 year old granddaughter and 1 year old grandson. He does peer counseling and visits at the Good Samaritan Rehab Department for Spinal Cord Injuries in his spare time. He also enjoys wheelchair workouts at the YMCA.
Karl L. has worked at HammondKnoll for over 5 years. He is one of our cleaning technicians. When he is not at work he volunteers for Riverside Fire & Rescue and loves to cook Mexican lasagna for his wife and daughter. Karl is active in his church and participates as an instructor for volunteer fire academies. Country and rock concerts are one of his favorite activities as well as fishing and working on cars.
Scott has been at HammondKnoll for over 8 years. A longtime resident of Vaughn, he has 4 children, 2 dogs and 1 cat. Scott takes full advantage of all of the outdoor activities the NW has to offer, including rock climbing, wake-boarding and skiing. He has been in the cleaning and restoration industry for over 18 years.
Tim has worked at HammondKnoll for over 10 years. He has worked in the cleaning and restoration business for over 15 years, and moved to the area 11 years ago. His favorite book is “The Power of Your Subconscious Mind” and he enjoys hiking and traveling in his spare time. Tim also likes to work in his garage whenever he gets the chance.
Kevin V. has lived in the Puget Sound area his entire life, and has worked at HammondKnoll for over 2 years. He is currently the Restoration and Tile Department Manager. Kevin V. enjoys spending time with his family when he’s not at work. His favorite pastimes are skiing, bicycling, running and restoring old Volkswagens.
Michael W. is our Restoration Project Manager, so if you have a water or fire loss he will be the man to talk to. He has been with HammondKnoll for about a year now and he has his Water Restoration Technician certification. When Michael isn’t at work he enjoys spending time with his daughter Alycia! Michael is very technically inclined, so he spends a lot of his spare time working on motorcycles and cars or he is enjoying the outdoors. His favorite part about his job is that he gets the opportunity to help other people in distress and to make their day better!
Kevin D. has been in the cleaning & restoration industry since 1983. He happily married and has 2 children, 2 dogs and a cat. In his spare time he volunteers at Mt. Tahoma HS during football games, enjoys coaching his daughter’s soccer team, and cheering on his son’s high school sporting events. He is also a HUGE Husky fan. Go Dawgs! His favorite part of working at HammondKnoll is meeting people and helping to make their lives easier!
Yusef is currently one of our tile specialists. He has worked in the construction business for 8 years and his specialties are ceramic tile, slate, granite and any hard surface. He has been married for almost 6 years and enjoys going hiking and snowboarding together with his wife. His other love is fly fishing and his spoiled apricot toy poodle Geneva.
Alex is currently one of our tile cleaning specialists. He comes to HammondKnoll with a restoration background and a can do attitude. Outside of work he participates in outdoor sports, spends time with his wife and does volunteer bible education work.
Sheadrah is currently one of our commercial cleaning techs. He is a singer in a classic rock band named Kap'n Crunch and the Cereal Killers. He also has 5 beautiful children and 2 pesky cats. He has also played football on a lot of different levels which has taught him a lot about life and himself as a person.
Jeff is our primary Saturday front desk person. He is a huge fan of Star Wars and has met a President of the United States. He spends his free time with his family.
Eugene G is an integral part of our Restoration team. He finds satisfaction in helping people and a job well done. He is a long time resident of Tacoma. When he isn't at work he is working vintage sports cars and spending time with his wife and 2 children.
Travis is the lead of our Plant Department. Prior to HammondKnoll he was a superintendent of new home construction. He has been married to his wife, Sara for 14 years and he has 2 children. They enjoy taveling, camping and swimming. Travis is an avid reader and also coaches youth soccer and football.
Mike D works in our Plant as a rug cleaning specialist. You will also find him out on our Pick Up and Delivery truck. When he's not at work he enjoys taking professional photos of people, outdoor scenes and art. He is also a computer builder and advid gamer. He likes to do annual hikes at Mt. Rainier, shellfishing, crabbing and camping. He lives in Tacoma and is a graduate of UW.
