Chipped tiles? Cracked or missing grout? Mildewed caulking? We deal with these problems daily. Our tile and stone craftsmen are the best in the industry when it comes to repairing your tile, stone and grout.
Here are some of the most common problems we repair:
Missing or low grout lines. Years of wear and improper cleaning products cause grout to wear out in high traffic areas like showers and counter-tops. Settling and movement of floors, walls, and counters are another common cause for grout cracking and deterioration. Whatever the cause — we have a solution.
We can usually repair and replace the grout in the affected areas without grouting the entire surface. Our technicians will match the grout colors as closely as possible. In many cases, the repaired areas will blend seamlessly with the surrounding grout. Often find that older grout has faded and discolored. The new grout, no matter how close the color match, will stand out for a few months before blending in completely.
Mildewed or cracked caulk. All caulking, no matter the type or color, will eventually crack and peel. In showers, caulking is also very susceptible to mildew and, in some situations, may need to be replaced every 6-12 months. Our technicians are skilled applicators of all types of caulk and can remove and replace your caulking with the best choice of caulking for any situation.
Cracked or chipped tiles. If you have replacement tile, we can simply replace the tile for you. If there are no extra tiles and the tile has been discontinued, then we can use special acrylic fills to repair and disguise the chip or crack. This type of repair will not be completely invisible, but offers a vast improvement if no replacement tiles are available.
Tip: Try and keep any extra tile and grout used when the tile is installed. Those tiles are priceless when you chip or break a tile or your grout needs replacing. The leftover grout will help in case more needs to be ordered for repairs.
Full grout replacement. If your grout is deteriorated or missing in many areas, it may be better to fully re-grout the area. This process is time consuming and more expensive, but offers several advantages over simple grout repair:
We use state-of-the-art tools to remove the old grout. The new grout is mixed with a hardener additive for extended life. We also use a premium quality grout sealer.
Tile Restoration
Cleaning your tile floors We use a truck mounted, steam extraction process to clean your tile floors. This process uses a heated pressure washing system with an attached vacuum that removes the soil and waste-water from your home. This is the most effective cleaning method today.
Restoring and polishing your natural stone
Because natural stone is made of minerals from the earth, it is susceptible to a variety of problems. Proper maintenance can help prevent most problems from occurring. You can also learn how to take care of your surfaces to keep them maintained. However, some restorative maintenance is often inevitable.
Common reasons why we restore natural stone
We use “Green”, environmentally friendly products!
As an option for our customers, we can use eco-friendly cleaners and sealers. Because the sealers biodegrade more quickly, they will need to be reapplied more frequently than premium quality sealers. Our premium quality sealers are all water-based for your safety and ours.
